From an artist point of view the cosmos is a conglomeration of beauty, colour and form. Each creation manifests the keenness and mastery of Supreme Creator. An artist employs his creativity to enhance the beauty of such creations in his own style. Plato may contend that art is twice removed from reality. Yet it is the artist who interacts on the mystery of creation and parades it before the on lookers for their appreciation and evaluation. A genuine artist yearns to formulate his creations in such a way that sensitive generations will treasure them.

The Dance of Nataraja According to Anandakumaraswamy, the international exponent of dance, there are three forms of the dance of Siva- such as twilight- dance, funeral- dance, and the “nadantha nrutham”. Of the above, the third sort of dance is called “the dance of Nataraja”.
